After the debacle of ruining the Orchid house I purchased the 1:12 Westville house. It is going to be a spring cottage. Bright fun colors. And lots of flowers.
I’ve completed the basic structure so far and painted the rooms inside.
I did not include the stairs for the first time so that the first floor would have more of a large open floor plan.
For flooring I used vinyl tile from Home Depot. Unfortunately I was not able to purchase just one tile like I had been able to in the past. I had sent my boyfriend to check and when they told him that he couldn’t he purchased the whole box! But it ended up being the easiest flooring that I have ever installed.
It also went in the bedroom.
I used regular wood as baseboards. Stained them with a grey stain.
I’m trying to take my time with this house as I finish up the Fairfield.
Miniature Moments 
Oh I wanted to use that exact flooring, too! But I didn’t want to purchase the whole box. It looks great! I look forward to seeing your future progress!
