Lighting

I have no clue how to wire a house so I tried to do easy lighting. I learned from some tutorials on IG how to make my own LED lights. These lights were meant to be lamps in a 1:12 house, but since my house is 1:24 they became ceiling lights.

Tea Lights

LED Coasters

And magnets

Essentially you pop out the back and flame of the tealight. Leaving you with the plastic casing. There are little plastic strips inside of this casing – I used an exacto knife to cut them off.

Cut the plastic of off the LED coaster lights. It then becomes small enough to fit into the plastic casing. Put it in with the on/off part to the back of the casing.

I glued magnets to the ceiling of the house so that the lights would hang from the ceiling.

And we have light!

They are not glued to the magnets so I can just pull them off the ceiling to turn on and off. They are so bright and make such a different to the house. Ive done nothing to them yet but I do plan to decorate them in some way. Ribbons, spray paint? I’ll post them when they’re decorated.
