This was the paint palette I decided would be for the interior of the house! I wanted something soft and earthy. I found this palette on a search on pinterest.
Picking a palette meant a trip to Lowes for paint! Once again I got sample sized paints for about $3 each. The house has 4 rooms but I picked up 5 different colors because I planned on doing something fun with the living room.
I lightly sanded the wooden walls. They were not completely smooth, but smooth enough. Taped off the floors so as not to get paint in places that I did not want it.
Bedroom: Deep Sunset
Bathroom: Dusty Olive
Kitchen: Pale Pasture
Living Room: the dark blue is “Dark Night” but I am unsure of the light blues name

And here are the rooms after 2 coats of paint each and after they had dried for about 24 hours. The windows will all be painted white to bring a lightness to each room. Next up – flooring.
