Roof

The roof on this house was a bit complicated to construct to say the least. The main portion was split into two. Which when constructing I don’t actually think was necessary. Putting up the main part consisted of glueing the left half to the left wall and glueing the right half to the right wall. Then gluing each half to each other in the middle. Tape was absolutely necessary to hold the two halves together. UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_3e57.jpg

Next came the gables which took a bit more working. The tabs and slots were not fitting perfectly together which meant some cutting and sanding so that they would. I had to wait for the main roof to try in the joining before putting up the gables so that I could remove the tape. UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_3e5b.jpg

Overall, I am very pleased with how neatly it came out. And so thankful for the strength of gorilla glue.
